AKK Database Search

Follow these steps to display pedigrees and health information.
The answers to frequently asked questions can be found here.

Number of generations: Select the number of generations you will want displayed in the pedigree. For most computer printers printing in Landscape mode, 5 generations is the best choice.
  
Field to search:
Search string: Generally it is better to use a keyword, or partial name, to search. For example, entering "Alas" to search for all Alasco dog names or "Red" to find all red/white coated dogs.
Order by:
Database: Select which database to use:
  Click on the "Search Now" button below.
Search Hints 1. Search strings need to be at least 2 characters long.
2. Variety, postings are Standard, Miniature, Toy, Foundation, Oversized.
3. Coat Color, common colors are: Gray/White, Black/White, Red/White, Black, White. There are also a few described as Cinnar or Smoky Brown. and more.
4. Last Known Location: State or Country is searchable.
5. Factor VII Status: Normal, Carrier, Affected.
6. Cause of Death: Car, Dog, attack, heart, liver, etc...
7. For listings including the VGL Diversity Study just enter 1: for the search string.
8. OFA CERF Status: PA, CA, TH...
9. Health Temperament Issues: Any health issue that the owner/breeder/caregiver has divulged.
10. To search DOB use format yyyy-mm-dd.
